The Colorado Contemporary Music College is the vision of founders Tom Noonan and Rick Busson. As performers, students and instructors for many years in the Northern Range of Colorado, they realized that the vast majority of musical training in the Rocky Mountain region was limited to traditional classical music.

With the help of other musicians who share the vision of creating a complete school for contemporary music, the Colorado Contemporary Music College, a non-profit Corporation was conceived in 2002. 

MISSION STATEMENT

Colorado School of Contemporary Music, Inc.'s purpose is to provide practical, musical instruction for the aspiring professional musician. Institution scholarships will have as their fundamental purpose the funding of musical education for the physically and economically disadvantaged. The underlying philosophy of our organization is to provide musicians a set of skills that will help them grow to their fullest potential.
