Four weeks of Bluegrass Jamming.

  • Each class is from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the
    CCMC, 291 W. Magnolia, Fort Collins, Colorado
  • $45 Registration Fee
  • Class size limited to 10 musicians, all skill levels

"Learn to Play it right"

  • Play with a small group of other pickers in a structured learning environment
  • All bluegrass instruments welcome, beginning and intermediate players
  • Learn tips for song arrangements, including solos, harmonies and back-ups
  • Practice soloing and singing with a group
  • Learn “Jam Etiquette” so you can join bluegrass jams anywhere

Mike Finders, M.A. (say “finn-ders”), is a new faculty member of the CCMC. He is a singer/songwriter, guitar-picker, educator and full-time folk musician. He performs as a duo with his wife, Amy, and in the band Finders and Youngberg. He is the father of two young daughters, and has recently relocated to Fort Collins from Iowa City, IA. A licensed special education teacher, Mike is available for individual guitar lessons, songwriting coaching, or general tutoring in all school subjects.
