How do I enroll in classes?
Your acceptance into CCMC begins by completing: an Application
for Enrollment, Goals Statement, Music Experience Information, and
submitting an audition recording for ability/skill level placement. If you are a beginning musician an audition recording is not required.
The following is a checklist outlining the necessary steps:
[1.] Completed and signed application form
[2.] $50 application fee
[3] Completed and signed goals statement and musical information sheet
[Note about transcripts: these may be submitted after
the application but only provisional acceptance will be granted until
they are received]
[4] Official high school transcripts, and copy of high school diploma,
or GED certificate
[5] Official transcripts from any occupational schools, colleges,
universities, or any other educational programs in which you have
been a participant
[6] An audition recording for ability/skill level placement (If you are a beginning musician an audition recording is not required).
After you have been issued an acceptance letter the following
must be received in order to have a place secured in a class:
[1] A signed Enrollment Agreement
[2] $500 deposit which is used as a credit towards the semester tuition
Am I required to audition in order to be accepted?
An audition recording is required to help us assess your
ability/skill level [intermediate or advanced--If you are a beginning musician an audition recording is not required.] This does
not affect your acceptance into the college. It does help us to place
you in the proper ability/skill level ensemble class. It also helps
your individual lesson instructor prepare for your applied instrument
lessons.
