In 2004 & 1998 he won second place in the National Mountain Dulcimer Contest, Walnut Valley Festival, 2004 & 1998 Steve was a finalist in the National Hammered Dulcimer Contest, Walnut Valley Festival, and in 2002 & 2001 he placed 3rd in the the National Mountain Dulcimer Contest at Walnut Valley. In addition Steve has been winning musical awards since 1985.Hammered and Mountain Dulcimer.
