Concepts which apply to performance skills on each students major instruments. The ability to execute effective stylized performances is developed through analysis, focused listening, and performance examples shared by students and by way of audio visual aids.
Memorizing skills and stylistic challenges are discussed. The songwriting segment covers the basics such as lyric and harmony selection as well as the fundamental techniques of contemporary songwriting.
