About CCMC

Introduction
Colorado Contemporary Music College, (hereinafter referred to as the School) is regulated by the Colorado Department of Higher Education, Division of Occupational Schools. It offers an approved curriculum, in an inspected facility, which is staffed with credentialed instructors. The School is owned and operated by The Colorado Contemporary Music College, a Colorado non-profit Corporation and is administered by a board of directors.

The Colorado Contemporary Music College is the vision of founders Tom Noonan and Rick Busson. As performers, students and instructors for many years in the Northern Range of Colorado, they realized that the vast majority of musical training in the Rocky Mountain region was limited to traditional classical music.

With the help of other musicians who share the vision of creating a complete school for contemporary music, the Colorado Contemporary Music College, a non-profit Corporation was conceived in 2002.
